Even if you don't live near our boat club or just don't have the time to come down to the river, you can donate to HCR and support the sport of rowing. Our club supports rowing, the health of our river, and the development of youth rowing.
Hinsdale Community Rowing (HCR) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. Because HCR is a qualified 501(c)(3), your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for your gift, so the full amount of your contribution is deductible as a charitable donation.

Oars, hull repairs and replacement parts are always needed for our club boats and equipment . Your donation helps with all these things.

Our club has grown every year for the last five years. Your donation goes directly to new oars, shoes, safety equipment, and lessons for new members.

Your Tax Receipt
For any donation of $250 or more, HCR will send you a written acknowledgment letter for your tax records, as required by the IRS. This letter will confirm the amount of your gift, the date received, and state that no goods or services were provided in return. Please keep this letter, along with your bank or credit card record, with your tax documents.
For gifts under $250, your bank statement, canceled check, or credit card record serves as sufficient documentation for tax purposes.
